Netherlands - Jewish reburial

After archaeologists discovered remains in Groningen's oldest former Jewish cemetery 'Jodenkamp' (1750) the remains are reburied at another cemetery in the city. This process can only be done under supervision of the Jewish authorities. During the exhumation and reburial a Jewish supervisor has been permanently present to see that the Jewish laws are observed. The whole proces of exhumation and reburial of 22 remains took five weeks.
